Razorbacks Sanders Among Most Hyped Backs in College Football

Razorbacks Sanders Among Most Hyped Backs in College Football
Fact Checked by Michael Peters

The Arkansas Razorbacks have a shot at doing something the program has never done this fall under the leadership of fourth-year coach Sam Pittman.

That bit of program history would be if the Razorbacks are able to win a bowl game for a third consecutive season, coming on the heels of victories in the Outback and Liberty bowls.

The Razorbacks have only won two bowl games in a row once before, doing so under then-head coach Bret Bielema in 2014 and 2015. But there is always optimism surrounding the team when it comes to Arkansas sports betting.

If Arkansas is going to achieve that program-wide feat this fall, it’ll likely take another herculean season from junior running back Raheim Sanders.

Sanders had 1,443 yards and 10 scores on the ground last year, averaging a whopping 6.5 yards per carry.

With the college football season beginning at the end of August, BetArkansas.com utilized Google Trends to find the college football running backs with the most search interest for the 2023 season. The results were taken from April 25 through July 25.

Auburn RB Jarquez Hunter was removed due to his potential suspension pushing his search interest up.

Blake Corum of Michigan had the top score (23), followed by Penn State’s Nicholas Singleton (18 score) and Donovan Edwards of Michigan and Southern Miss’ Frank Gore Jr. (16 each).

There is no Caesars Sportsbook Arkansas, but nationally the operator has Arkansas at +10000 to win the SEC, tied with South Carolina for 10th.

Georgia is the SEC favorite at -115, as well as the national championship favorite at +230. Alabama is second in title odds at +600.
